About Pujya  Gurudev Shri Namramuni Maharaj Saheb

A LEGEND IS BORN :
Pujya  Gurudev Shri Namramuni Maharaj Saheb – a 38 years young Jain Muni of Gondal Sampraday was born on 26th Sept. at Nagpur. He has 2 brothers and 1 sister. Since childhood he faced lots of hardships. Only when he was 3 years, he lost his father. He shifted to his native place Lathi (Saurashtra) and from there, his maternal uncle took him to Delhi.
 
HE HAD SIX SENSES :
Pujya  Gurudev Shri Namramuni Maharaj Saheb sixth sense awakened when he was only six years. Pujya  Gurudev Shri Namramuni Maharaj Saheb could predict what was going to happen. He was very kind hearted and cared for each and every living creatures never hurt even smallest living thing.
 
THE NIGHT THAT CHANGED HIS LIFE :
One night in his dreams, he heard a divine voice saying “Your life is very short, do whatever you want to do.” Pujya  Gurudev Shri Namramuni Maharaj Saheb narrated his dream to his mother, a highly religious lady. She was courageous and as such, instead of ignoring the dream or becoming sad, she rightly advised him to make the most of the life from whatever little time he had at his disposal. She advised him to take Diksha (to leave all worldly things) and make the life worthy. Pujya  Gurudev Shri Namramuni Maharaj Saheb went to Jodhpur for religious studies and learnt 32 Agams (Jain Granths) and their meanings. Pujya  Gurudev Shri Namramuni Maharaj Saheb took Diksha at the age of 21 and became a Jain Saint named Shri Namramuni Maharaj Saheb.
 
THE DAY, HE ALMOST LEFT THIS WORLD……
When Pujya  Gurudev Shri Namramuni Maharaj Saheb was 22 years of age, one day, Pujya  Gurudev Shri Namramuni Maharaj Saheb was running very high fever and vomited 80% of his blood. He was fighting for his life and even doctors also gave up. It was told that he will live for another half an hour. At this time, something unbelievable happened. Pujya  Gurudev Shri Namramuni Maharaj Saheb started chanting “Shri Uvvasagarah  Stotra” which he had never heard nor learnt before.

…….AND MIRACLE HAPPENS :
His sixth sense alarmed him, “You have to live. You will live….!” He told the doctors to continue their treatment and he went on reciting the stotra. He chanted the same for multiple times and made it divine and powerful. He fought against his destiny and today, he is fit and fine. Even God wanted him to be here so that he can change the lives of millions and guide them to walk on the path of humanity.
 
MET HIS GURU :
When he met Tapsamrat Pujya Gurudev.Shri Ratilalji Maharaj Saheb, he was attracted towards his divine love and affection. He spent one chaturmaas with him and decided that only he can be his Guru. He devoted his life to  serve him and look after him. He was his best disciple. After his Guru’s death, he felt lonely and preached people about Jainism and taught them, “first you become good human being, you will automatically become Jain”. On the basis of the efforts he put in to spread the religion, he got a degree of “Shashan Prabhavak”.

FORMING OF ARHAM YUVA GROUP :
One of his dream was to stop youngsters from wasting their time in doing unnecessary, unwanted and unethical things. He wanted to attract them and come to him so that they can be moulded in the right way and in right direction. Whatever was required to be done, he did it and youngsters started coming to him in large numbers. Youngsters were explained in the language they understand, how they can make good use of time at their disposal and serve for the betterment of humanity.

FORMING OF LOOK-N-LEARN :
Pujya  Gurudev Shri Namramuni Maharaj Saheb saw that not many children were going to Pathshalas (place where children learn about their religion).  He tried  to find out the reason and very soom  came to the decision on what should be done to see that kids come to Pathshala.  He looked for the maximum comforts for the kids and taught them with modern technology. With this, children were playing and learning simultaneously. 
 
In order to see that children read the religious books with interest, Pujya  Gurudev Shri Namramuni Maharaj Saheb worked rigorously for two years and came out with one of the most fascinating Samayeek and Pratikraman book with colourful illustrations. All the minutest details were taken care of and it has lessons written in three languages (ardh Magdhi, Gujarati & English).
